Ever since the release of the books we’ve heard (and discussed) how Fifty Shades is Abuse. How Fifty Shades doesn’t represent what BDSM and D/s is all about. Let’s talk about the reality of Fifty Shades, how it does represent an abusive relationship but that this is also something that happens in D/s relationships. There are dom/mes like Christian Grey, and this sad reality can’t be ignored. Fifty Shades of Grey doesn’t represent what BDSM normally entails, but it does depict a real perversion of a D/s relationship.

Sorry I’ve been away, the last few months have been completely crazy. Things are back to normal (abnormal?) now so I wanted to make sure I recorded an episode. A couple months ago a really unique timewaster contacted me again and I decided to waste some of his time. I may have mentioned his emails before, but this time I decided to read the full account. Basically he emails dommes under the pretense he wants a custom movie filmed, a fetish video where some old ladies he knows are “kidnapped” and then subjected to all sorts of vile activities. It’s incredibly annoying so I decided to screw with him a bit! The language used is more graphic than normal so if fluids make you queasy you may not want to listen!

In today’s episode I delve into my personal philosophy of Financial Domination. In my opinion the reason so many dom/mes fail at financial domination is they don’t know why they are doing it and aren’t honest with their intentions. I normally don’t like discussing too many secrets, but in the end, I don’t think this is much of a secret nor do I think this is a universal philosophy. Perhaps it will let those on both sides of the coin understand why they are into it a bit more and maybe grasp their own philosophy of financial domination. I was the first runner up and there’s lots of tales of music mishaps, diner dates and rubber rubber rubber! This isn’t an exhaustive review of the event as I saw little of this year’s New York Rubber Ball (except for backstage!) but you’ll hear everything that happened to me over the weekend.

I can’t believe it took this long, here’s Episode 17: Latex Part 1. Finally I introduce my favorite material. Why I love wearing it, why some people won’t bother, all of the pros and cons, the sex appeal and the not so sexy side of latex, I try to cover it in here. If you want to know how it feels to wear latex and why people bother spending so much to look a certain way, there are some answers in this episode. I should also include a correction: In the episode I basically say that few people are specifically a vinyl fetishist. That’s really not true. Compared to leather and latex there are fewer fetishists specifically into vinyl, but they definitely exist.

Episode 16: Fetlife

Update: I want to say that in the two years since I’ve posted this I have seen noticeable improvement from Fetlife. I am not going to remove this episode but I do want to note that pretty much every criticism in this episode has been either rectified or improved drastically and that’s all you can really ask for.

Episode 16 of the podcast is now up and is a history of the problems with the website Fetlife. I will not claim this is an exhaustive analysis of Fetlife’s issues. There are more. In recent days the Fetlife’s founder has made some idiotic decisions that have highlighted five years of bad decisions, bullying and hypocrisy on the part of Fetlife and its management. This episode deals with Fetlife’s failures to live up to its Terms of Use, its internet bullying in the form of aggressive, improper DMCA notices, its failures to protect members from being outed and put in danger, and its failures to live up to its agreements with credit card processors.
